Lately, about 1/4 of the deviations submitted to the club have been submitted to the wrong category.
Just look at this "miscellaneous" folder:
[link]Are dogs and dragonflies "miscellaneous" when there are distinct categories available for mammals and bugs? I think not!

In the hopes of alleviating this problem, I'd like to just clear some things up about the categories in a very simple and mildly satirical fashion so it won't be as boring (yes, the strange journal title is relevant!)

:

Mammals: Just about all furry things (except for bees). They generally have paws or hooves. A bird is not a mammal!

Birds: Feathered things with beaks and wings. They often can fly.

Reptiles and Amphibians: Frogs, snakes, geckos, salamanders, lizards-- scaled or slimy, these are reptiles and amphibians!

Fish and Bugs: Most scaly/slimy things that swim (besides dolphins, whales, sea lions, seals, and other sea mammals/amphibians) and those tiny, somewhat alien creatures that generally hang around in the grass.

Miscellaneous: ONLY things that do not fit into the other categories, such as gastropods, and things that indirectly represent animals as a whole. (In fact those are the only examples I can even think of at the moment.) Please don't just submit to miscellaneous because you don't feel like selecting the correct category-- it just makes my job harder.
So, from now on, I'm afraid that deviations submitted to the wrong category will be rejected. I just don't have time to go through all the folders and move all the deviations anymore, sadly.
If you have any questions, just ask!

(Please excuse the satirical/sarcastic way of explaining it, I just wanted to make it somewhat interesting for those reading it as opposed to just rattling off animal category definitions

)
Thanks for reading,
